Takeo City Library

This library has been renovated to resemble a Tsutaya Bookstore. When it reopened, it made nationwide news. The interior no longer feels like a public library but rather an urban, stylish bookstore with a café. It serves the local community but is also a popular sightseeing spot in the city.

Yutoku Inari Shrine

This shrine in Kashima is for praying for commercial success, family blessings, safe driving, and good marriages. It is considered one of the three major Inari shrines in Japan. The shrine features a vividly lacquered main pavilion, a Kagura dance hall, and a front gate that resembles the main gate of Nikko Toshogu.
