It opened on October 30th, 2006. It is 390 meters long, 173 meters high, and 1.5 meters wide, making it the highest suspension bridge exclusively for pedestrians in Japan.

Directly in front of this bridge, you can see ‘Shindo-no-taki’ or ‘Medaki,’ which are listed among the ‘100 Beautiful Waterfalls in Japan.’ Beyond the bridge, the vast forest of Narukogawa-Keikoku (the headwaters of the Chikugo River) spreads out, offering an attractive view in every season. Additionally, you can see the ‘Kuju-Renzan’ (mountain ranges) including Mt. Mimata and Waita in the distance. This beautiful 360-degree view truly makes it a “walkway in the sky.”
