Takeo Hot Spring
The feature of Takeo Onsen is its clear, alkaline hot water, which is good for keeping your skin smooth. The term Bijin-no-yu, meaning “hot spring for beauty,” applies to this onsen. It has a history dating back 1,300 years. A large red torii gate welcomes visitors to the onsen area.

Takeo City Library
This library has been renovated to resemble a Tsutaya Bookstore, and its reopening made nationwide news. The interior no longer feels like a typical public library but rather an urban, stylish bookstore with a café. It serves the local community while also being a popular sightseeing spot in the city.

Yutoku Inari Shrine
This shrine in Kashima is dedicated to prayers for commercial success, family well-being, traffic safety, and good marriages. It is regarded as one of the three major Inari shrines in Japan. The shrine features a vividly lacquered main hall, a Kagura dance stage, and an entrance gate reminiscent of the main gate at Nikkō Tōshōgū.
