Shimeiso Spring Water Garden

This house was built around the beginning of the 20th century as a villa for Dr. Itō. It offers clear views in all four directions, which is why it was named Shimeisō (四明荘), literally meaning “Villa of Four Clear Views.” The garden features a pond that is constantly filled with fresh spring water. Visitors may enter the house and appreciate the beautiful garden from within.
