This ropeway, with a capacity of 101 people, carries you to the top of Mt. Tsurumi (at an altitude of 1,375 meters) in Aso–Kuju National Park. On the way up or from the top, you can enjoy stunning views of Beppu City, Beppu Bay, and the Kuju Mountains.

You can experience seasonal changes and beauty there: in spring, sakura (cherry blossoms) and miyamakirishima (azaleas); in summer, cool air; in autumn, red momiji leaves; and in winter, muhyō (branches covered with ice).
